Starting Sheerline Strip

The sheerline strip is most critcal to align perfectly. Finger joints levels out the strain on the forms and provide a strong bow/stern.  I decided to avoid staples whenever possible to have a clear as possible surface.  I only to used staples on the sheerline and installing the keel strips.  Clamping and holding the strips next to the stations was accomplished with 2x2 plywood "U" clamps held to the stations by a spring clamp.  In between stations I used blue tape to keep the strips aligned. To avoid crushing the cove, 1/4 inch dowel were used.  I could only lay two to four strips per day because of the clamping build method.
